Show WASHINGTON Washington, July 1. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Covington of Harbor City, Calif., spent the 24th of June here with his sister, Mrs. Mary E. Larson. They went to St. George to do some temple work on the 25th, Mrs. Larson accompanying them. They left the same evening for their home in Calif. Mrs. Larson spent the remainder of the week in St. George visiting relatives and friends, returning home Saturday. Mrs. Ellen Westover and son Ralph went to Leeds Friday to take Mrs. Westover's neice, Mrs. Jennie Penda-lura, Penda-lura, who is here from Denver, Colo-rodo, Colo-rodo, visiting relatives. The Misses Annie, Katharine and Florence Miles of St. George spent Friday here. They were the guests of Mrs. Lydia Stephens. Frank Staheli has commenced threshing in town. He will go from here to St. George, then out into the field. Bishop Calvin Hall returned last week from a three weeks' vacation to Salt Lake and other northern points. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hardy, who have been visiting relatives here, left Monday ,for their home at Hinckley. Mrs. Nina Larson has been very ill for the past week but we are pleased to report she is on the improve. Mr. and Mrs. Peter T. Neilson have moved up to Thorley's ranch, near Kanarra, for the summer. Joseph Turnbeaugh returned Monday Mon-day from Iron Springs. j Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller have returned re-turned from Pintura. Alfred Ruby left Monday for Bull valley to herd sheep. |
