Show South Ward Honors Twenty Men leaving From Their Ward With Nat'I Guard Honoring the 20 ward men who are members of the local National Guard, the St. George South ward is Maying a program and dance in their chapel recreation hall this (Thursday) evening. Special tribute trib-ute will be paid to these members ;in refreshments will follow the program. The South ward also staged iheir Relief Society birthday anniversary an-niversary celebration Tuesday. A jiageant commemorating the organization org-anization was staged by Mrs. Hazel B. Brad-haw. Note was taken of those attending and a potted plant was given to Mrs. ' Mary J. Runker as the oldest member present, and one each to Mrs. Mary E. Woodbury and Mrs. Archie D. Wallis as the oldest old-est and youngest Relief Society teachers attending. |
