Show BUNXERYILLE Mrs. Mary II. Leavitt Reporter All men and teams are working on the dam as the water has been out of town since the flood a month ago. Warren Hardy reports that he lost four acres of farming land in the flood. The land was planted in alfalfa. The CCC men are working along the river bank to protect the land from further damage. Mrs. Mary A. Hafen returned home on Monday after spending a week in the Temple at St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Milo Adams and family attended the funeral of Mrs. Adams' father, Harmon Gub-ler. Gub-ler. at Santa Clara on Sunday. The bishopric and high-council-men from this stake attended their monthly meeting at Las Vegas on Saturday. Mrs. Hector Bunker is still confined con-fined to her bed. Miss Wilma Earl spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Earl. She is attending school at Dixie. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Huntsman and family of St. George spent Sunday here with relatives and friends. |
