Show ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS STATE OF UTAH Office of State Road Commission Salt Lake City, Utah. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m. Tuesday, July 22nd. 1924, and at that time publicly public-ly opened for grading and surfacing with gravel a section of the State Road in Washington County, the same being Federal Aid Project No. 5 5-A between North end of completed complet-ed project No. 12-A at Ash Creek and the Iron County Line. The length of road to be constructed construct-ed or improved is S.65 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approx-imately as follows: Unclassified excavation ex-cavation 30700 cu yds., Common excavation ex-cavation 10600 cu yds., Earth Borrow Bor-row 36500 cu yds., gravel for surfacing surfac-ing 17600 cu yds. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission. Salt Lake City. Utah, and the office of the Bureau of Public Pub-lic Roads. Ogden. Utah. The above plans and specifications specifica-tions may be obtained at the office of the State Road Commission on depositing Five (?5.00) Dollars. Any additional information may be secured from the Chief Engineer at Salt Lake City. Utah. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. Cash, or certified check for Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00 ) made payable to the Utah State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, con-tract, the bidder will execute the contract and give bond as required.
