Show VEYO Veyo, July 7. The Dixie Power Co. has commenced its pump which will raise about two second feet of water from the creek bed into their ditch. This will be a great help to them in dry times like the present. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Burgess of Mesquite, Nevada, aer visiting at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Lem S. Leavitt. Mr. Williams, a Dixie Power employee em-ployee has moved his family here and is living at the home of John H. Bowler. Bow-ler. We are having some light showers which cools off the air some but none yet to do any good to crops. Hector Bunker of Bunkerville, Nev., spent last week in town visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Lee V. Leavitt spent Sunday in town from their homestead at the Meadows. Mrs. Fred Chadburn has gone to Pine Valley to visit for some time. . Mrs. James W. Hunt and family are in Gunlock for a few days. Miss Phyllis Cottam is visiting in St. George for a week. |
