Joyce Rucsch returned Friday from visiting for ten days in Parowan with her friend, Marion Decker. Accompanying her on the trip was Joy Caldwell of Leeds. , Mrs. Rondo Ruesch and baby, Linda, left July 16 for an extended extend-ed visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Parks, in Joplin, Mo. TSgt. and Mrs. George B. Fry are visiting with Mrs. Fry's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Axene and son, r"lilTord, visited in St. George Saturday on their return to their homes in Oompton, Calif., after attending funeral services for a relative in Toquerville Thursday. s Mrs. Tom Bryner, who has been employed at the Gunnery sehool in Las Vegas the past eight months, visited in St. George over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph J. Bennett of Las Vegas were visiting over Sunday in St. George with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Karl Hutchings and son, Gordon, and Mrs. Orval Wiseman and son, Robert, returned last week from spending several weeks at Purccll. Okla., where Seaman Hutchings has been training. :s The St. George B P W held their annual midsummer social at Zion National Park Wednesday evening, August 1. Miss Irma Bentley, chairman of the summer party committee, was in charge. Supper was served to 40 members and guests at, the Zion Cafeteria, followed by a special program. :; Wesley A. Nelson, Neal Lund-berg Lund-berg and Irvin Milne attended the State Lion's Club Membership Breakfast in Provo over the week end. Mr. Nelson is the past district dis-trict governor, Mr. Lundberg, the outgoing president, and Mr. Milne the incoming president of the St. George Lions. :: :: Heber Calvin Cottam, who graduated grad-uated at Corpus Christi, Texas, July 21, with the rating of Aerial Radio Technician 3c, is spending this week visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Cottam, and other relatives. He will report next week at San Diego for further training. |
