Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter The Washington Cotton Factory Camp of the D U P entertained all over 63 at a lawn party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Antone Neilson on the evening of July 2-1. The program consisted of readings, read-ings, stories, songs, old-time music mu-sic and refreshments. Gottlieb Zahner was given the award as the oldest man, and Mrs. James Turner Sr., as the oldest woman attending the party. Lt. Paul Neilson returned to Marana Army Air Base, Tucson, Arizona, Sunday, after a short furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Frei and son Bobbie returned Sunday to their home in Salt Lake City after aft-er spending a week here and in Santa Clara with relatives. Mrs. Frank Hafen is spending several weeks in Springville with her daughter, Mrs. Max Huff, who has a new baby girl. Mrs. Mary Judd and daughter, Veneta, left last week for Los Angeles An-geles to visit with her son, Lt. Gene Judd and family. Gene returned re-turned recently from overseas duty, having completed his missions mis-sions with the Army Air forces. Mrs. W. W. Staheli was hostess to the Rook Club on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Earl Milne entertained a group of friends at a party Sunday Sun-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Haven Paxman and family spent July 21th with relatives in Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Both arrived last week from Anaheim, Calif., to spend a few months with their mother, Mrs. Margaret Averett. Sgt. and Mrs. Delbert Walkin of San Francisco have returned to Bushnell General Hospital after spending two weeks here with Mr. and Mrs. John Watkin and family. Sgt. Watkin is recovering from wounds he received in Germany. Mrs. Tona Wise of Van Nuys. Calif,, was the guest hist week of Mrs. Mabel Jankele. Mrs. Alton Jones entertained at J a birthday anniversary party on Monday evening for her daughter, Alyce. Mrs. V. E. Iversnn and daughter, daugh-ter, Maxine, are visiting in San Diego, Calif. ftfr. and Mrs. Carl DiFurre of Richfield were visiting relatives in Washington Friday. Returning with them to Nephi were Mrs. DiFurre's mother and sister. Mrs. LyleBigler and Miss Caroline Bigler, who have been visiting relatives here for a week. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Prisbery and children, Irene and Merrill, returned Wednesday from visiting relatives in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs, Ernest Tanner .are visiting in Riverside, Calif., with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Crippi, parents par-ents of Mrs. Tanner. |
