Legion Auxiliary Holds Pot-Luck Supper Sat. The American Legion Auxiliary, Lester Keate Post No. 90, staged a delightful' pot-luck dinner and social in the reception room of the McQuarrie Memorial hall last Saturday Sat-urday evening with 70 Auxiliary members, Legionnaires and guests attending. Dinner was served at 8 p. m., at small tables with the officers of the organization in charge, assisted by special committee com-mittee members. Just preceding the dinner three small Center ward girls, Joan Taylor, Willa Brooks and Patsy Reeves were presented in a short skit advertising the ward pre-Christmas pre-Christmas entertainment which is underway this (Thursday) afternoon after-noon and evening. Following dinner the tables were cleared for progressive games of Rook and Five Hundred which furnished entertainment until midnight. mid-night. During the evening many availed avail-ed themselves of the opportunity of visiting the museum on the upper up-per floor of the building and were privileged to hear the recordings played on the old Silver Reef Orchostrone, the little record style, pedal-and-grind reed organ that has been enlisting recent interest on the part of visitors. Members also expressed appreciation for the conveniences afforded in this building for such entertainments as the one enjoyed Saturday evening.
