Show Coming Marriage of Carol Cottam Announced By Her Parents This Week Friday, Dec. 12, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Cottam of Veyo, their daughter, Carol, son Evan and wife, and Airs. John Egan of Delta will leave by auto for Sparks, Nev., where the Dec. 13 marriage of Miss Cottam to Tex Mosley, son of Mrs. Egan, will occur at a charmingly arranged candle-light service in the apartment apart-ment which the couple will occupy. oc-cupy. Several events have complimented compli-mented Miss Cottam prior to her departure. Last Wednesday evening eve-ning the intimate friends of the bride-elect entertained 60 guests in her honor at the Arrowhead hotel banquet room. The program included solos by Enid Webb, and games. On Saturday evening, Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Milne was hostess to 22 girl friends and close relatives of Miss Cottam at a personal shower. Chicken dinner-a-la-candlelight was served in the Milne dining room with shower ideas effectively used in place of cards and favors. Making of the Bride's book followed fol-lowed the serving of dinner. Movie films of the bride-elect and groom-to-be also furnished entertainment. Miss Cottam entertained at a trousseau tea Sunday from 4 to 8 p. m., at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Antone B. Prince. Her mother, , Mrs. James F. Cottam, and Mr. Mosley's mother, Mrs. Egan, received guests at the door. They wore informal dresses in black with corsages of rose buds. The dining table was covered with a lace cloth centered with a large cut glass bowl of sweet peas flanked with lighted candles. Mrs. Willard Milne, sister of Miss Cottam Cot-tam and Miss Gene Higbee poured . and assisting her with serving and displaying the trousseau trous-seau were Virginia McArthur, Lenore Hafen, Maude Bentley, Bertha Neilson and Cherril Snow. All were formally gowned and wore harmonizing corsages with their gowns of white, blue and peach. For her wedding ceremony the bride will wear an elaborate floor-length floor-length model of heavy white satin, with finger-length veil of net and lace. The couple will be attended by Mr. and Mrs. Evan Cottam as matron and best man. |
