Show From Horse-back Riding i To Transport Planes Riding horseback is an old story to Cecile Schmutz as the daughter of a Utah livestock rancher. Riding Rid-ing transport planes as an airline stewardess is something new. Miss Schmutz, 21, the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schmutz of St. George, is one of the latest young women to be graduated from the United Airlines' Air-lines' school for stewardesses in Chicago. As such, she has been assigned to the Salt Lake City-Cheyenne-Denver section of Uni-ted's Uni-ted's coast-to-coast route. Miss Schmutz, born in New Harmony, was reared there and in St. George. As a youngster she formed an early acquaintance with goats, horses and cows while riding around her father's extensive exten-sive ranch. She attended public schools in St. George, then studied nursing at the Latter-Day ' Saints hospital in Salt Lake City, graduating gradu-ating in October of this year. A striking brunnette, she lists her hobbies as horseback riding, swimming and sketching. |
