Mrs. Spencer, the former Maxine Hafen, will leave Wednesday night ,to join her husband. hus-band. They will reside for the present in Los Angeles. 9 9 9 Mr. and Mrs. George Pace and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pace left Christmas night for Tucson, Ariz., Mexico and Southern California to visit for several days and to transact business. 9 9 Christmas day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Miller, were Mr. and Mrs. Grant . Miller of Salt Lake City. 9 9 9 Miss Fawn Schmutz accompanied accompan-ied friends to Los Angeles Monday, Mon-day, where she will visit over the New Year's holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Don Carlos Schmutz. J'. J!. tr -re-Miss Maurine Whipple left on Monday for Hollywood, where she anticipates remaining for several weeks writing short scripts for Look Magazine. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pickett and daughter, Glenna, accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Viola Jamison left last Saturday evening for Los Angeles to visit until the end of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Lamoreaux and small daughter, Joette, are holiday guests from Las Vegas of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. J. Milne. 9 9 9 Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Orton and son were home from New Harmony Harm-ony over Christmas to visit with relatives. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Andrus was the scene of a large turkey dinner Monday evening honoring their son-in-law, Mack Jackson of Parowan on his birthday anniversary. Their entire family were present for the event, including Miss Wilma Andrus and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jenkins from Salt Lake City, the Jacksons from Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Hiff Andrus An-drus and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thompson of this city.
