Good stenog raphers are always in demand The positions pay $1,440 a yeat to start, with a good chance fc advancement to positions of greater great-er responsibility such as secretarial secre-tarial positions, in the case o; those who have the ability. The examination announced b the Civil Service Commission fo stenographers is open until furthe: notice. The examination consist solely of a dictation test at ft words a minutes and transcriptia of notes. All persons who car qualify are urged to apply now. The stenographer examinations are held at several hundred cities throughout the United States. Ir. order to arrange for greater convenience con-venience to applicants, the Commission Com-mission is planning to increase the number of places where the examinations exam-inations will be held. The proper application form may be obtained from the Secretary Secre-tary of the board of U. S. Civil Service examiners at any first- or second-class post office or from the U. S. Civil Service Commission Commis-sion at Washington, D. C. |
