Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, June 23. The weather still continues dry and hot and the range conditions are becoming very badly effected for the ranging of stock. Cattle are doing well, however, how-ever, up to this time, but unless we have storms soon the fall and winter ranges will be gone, and with the great shortage of hay here conditions are beginning to look serious. Dr. Johnson has been making tests of all milch cows for tuberculosis and has found four head thus far out of some 400 tested. This is an increase in-crease over last year and testing will probably be done again in six months. A bundle shower is planned for this afternoon for Miss Augusta Wilcox, Wil-cox, who is to be married Wednesday to Ray Hunt. They are two of our young people and we wish them all the success for their venture. Mrs. Jonathan Hunt came home from Cedar City yesterday feeling fine after her operation. William Lund, county commision-er, commision-er, was in St. George, Friday on county coun-ty business. Mrs. Jos. A. Terry and daughter, Mable are Salt Lake visitors this week. Mrs. Bagshaw and family of St. George are visiting here with her son Fred. Several of our men folks have gone to Iron Springs to work on the grade. Mrs. Ivor Clove is home from St. George with her new baby. |
