Show Alice Louise Reynolds Club Holds Meet Wednesday The Alice Louis Reynolds club met Wednesday June 4, at the home of Mrs. Glenn Prisbrey with Mrs. Wesley A. Nelson acting as co-hostess. co-hostess. Musical numbers included two piano solos by Miss Evelyn Empey, after which Mrs. R. N. Ashby reviewed the book, "A Moment in Peking," by Lin Yu-tang. Yu-tang. Election of officers for the next club year took place with the following being elected: president, Mrs. Howard Judd; 1st vice-president, Mrs. Orval Hafen; second vice-president, Mrs. Byron Taylor; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. R. N. Ashby; corresponding secretary, and historian, Mrs. L. A. Porter; entertainment chairmen, Mrs. George Pace and Mrs. M. O. Hutchings; music director, Mrs. Arnold McArthur. Refreshments were served to 26 members and one guest, Mrs. Joseph McArthur of Wasco, California, who was a former member of the club. |
