Show Parents Announce Marriage Of Miss Helen Fawcett To Orin Z. Bennett, G.M.2C Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Fawcett announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Helen, to Orin Z. (Zug) Bennett, G.M.2C of the U. S. Navy, and son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Bennett of Delta. The couple were married June 20, in Sacramento, Calif., with Bishop Hallam of the L. D. S. Church in that location officiating. Standing up with the bride and groom for the ceremony were Seaman and Mrs. Ralston Barber, formerly of St. George. Immediately Immedi-ately following the ceremony, the two couples with a small group of intimate friends -had dinner together before the bride and groom left for a brief honeymoon. Miss Fawcett had her schooling in St. George, graduating from high school and attending Dixie junior college. She was employed at the St. George telephone exchange ex-change before leaving a year ago to make her home in California. She is employed as reporter by the Pacific Telephone Company of Sacramento and will retain her position while her husband is in service. Mr. Bennett attended school in his home town and later attended at-tended Dixie junior college, where he was active in athletics. He is now serving with the U. S. Navy and is a gunner's mate second class. The couple plan to come to St. George later for a Temple marriage. |
