Show NEW HARMONY Mrs. O. Hammond Reporter AjC Merl Prince, who was station-training station-training at Santa Ana, Calif. Pie ed at Bakersfield, Calif., is now was given a 48 hour pass to come home and see his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Prince, surprising them Friday morning. Pvt. Sheldon Grant of the Anti-Aircraft Anti-Aircraft division was home on a two week furlough. He left Monday Mon-day morning to return to El Paso, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mathis heard from their son, Pvt. Wendell Mathis on Monday. Pie had landed land-ed safely somewhere in Italy. It is the first letter in several weeks form him. Mr. and Mrs. John O'Rullian and two children of Salt Lake City have been visiting for a week at New Harmony, guests of Mrs. O'Rullion's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James D. Neilson. Visiting at the home of Mrs. Randall Lunt for a two week's stay are her daughters, Mrs. Ruth A. Smith and Mrs. Carrie A. Chambers of Los Angeles. Mrs. Reese Davis and Mrs. Albert Mathis left Monday morning morn-ing for the northern part of the state to visit relatives. Mrs. Lurene Taylor visited with relatives in St. George over the week end. |
