Postoffice To Be Locked At 9 p. m., Under New Federal Regulations By WILLLVM BROOKS Postmaster As a result of a report of the Post Office inspector recently submitted to the department concerning con-cerning the closing of the lobby in this Post Office building, we are directed by the Fourth Assistant As-sistant Postmaster General to close and lock the lobby at 9 o'clock p. m. This new closing hour must be put into effect at the earliest date practicable. The closing of the lobby at 9 p. m., is in line with war instructions, in-structions, and giving better protection pro-tection to the building. Mail deposited should be placed in the mail box just outside of the lobby. It will receive proper treatment treat-ment for transmittal with the morning mail. This new closing hour will go into effect June 21st at 9 p. m.
