Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gates, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Hirschi and Stanley Brad-Shaw, Brad-Shaw, all of Hurricane, spent last Thursday here. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Clark and Mrs. W. R. Pike entertained at a New Year's party Monday night, a jolley time being had. Mr. and Mrs. William Moss left last Thursday for Iron Springs after spending Christmas here with the 1 former's parents. S. marshal arrived here last Thursday and together with Sheriff Goff took Carl Johnson, Grant Ostensen and Roy Pectol to Salt Lake, there to be tried for bootlegging boot-legging in the federal court. The offence is alleged to have been committed com-mitted here last September, and the case will be tried tomorrow. |
