He has been in the U. S. Navy-more Navy-more than four years, serving for 2's years in the European theatre and being transferred to the Pacific in May, l;V I. lie participated partici-pated at Ley to, Manila, Iwo Jima and Okinawa and had written his sister and brother, Paul of his experiences. In Europe he went through the Malta, Sicilian and African campaigns. His sister had a letter from him May 3, and the telegram of his death on May 5. |
