Show Twelve Counties Hold County and School Nurse's Meeting Here Rheumatic Fever and Fever Patient, Pat-ient, was the principal subject discussed in last weeks three-day conference of county school nurses and maternal and child health workers of districts Two and Five, comprising 12 southern counties. The conference was held Thursday Thurs-day afternoon, May 10 in Hurricane, Hurri-cane, and on Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12, at the City office in St. George. A special feature of the Friday afternoon program was a talk by Dr. W. J. Reich-mann Reich-mann of St. George on the recently re-cently recognized R. H. factor in the blood. Attending besides 14 nurses from the various counties were two supervisors, Mrs. Jennie Larson from District No. 2, Cedar City, and Vilate Caldwell, district No. 5. Richfield. From the State Health department were Hazel Stephens, nutritional export; Dr. F'rederick Kreits, pediatritian for maternal and health service; Dr. A. L. Thurman, director and Mary Gadecz, nursing consultant for crippled children service; and Mary Rostrum, maternal and child health worker. |
