Show I Eddie Jones underwent surgery 'jut the local hospital Oct. 1. Mrs. Wayne Whitehead and j small son, returned Sunday from spending a week In Los Angeles with relatives. Her sister,, Mrs. Cecil Gates and small daughter, Gerri Ann, returned with her to spend a month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Val Hafen. Miss Dorothy Gregerson arrived Tuesday from Salt Lake City for an extended visit. Lt. Col. Howard Cannon returned return-ed Wednesday morning from two weeks visit in San Francisco and Flagstaff, Ariz. Returning with him to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cannon, were Mrs. E. G. Williams, at whose home he lived while attending school in Flagstaff, and her friend Mrs. J. It. Sharber. Each of the women lost a son with the air forces over Europe. Arriving Wednesday morning after more than three years in the Pacific with the 115th Engineers Engin-eers were Gene Gregerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Gregerson of St. George, Merlin Sullivan, son of Clifford Sullivan, Adrain Bunting who remained in Cedar City with his mother, Mrs. Sina Bunting and other relatives. Earl Parkinson of Pintura, Gaston Smith of St. George. Remaining in Salt Lake City to visit relatives rela-tives before coming home were Jack Empey and Roy Anderson. None of these boys have been home soncc Sept. 1911, and all are being honorably discharged. |
