Show HURRICANE Mrs. Vernet Ilinton Reporter The married folks group consisting consist-ing of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Hir-schi, Hir-schi, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Nuttal, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Graff, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Graff, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gates, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Naegle and Mrs. Grace Staheli enjoyed a party in Zion Canyon Monday evening. Will Sullivan spent Tuesday here with his family. LaVon Adams, who spent two weeks here, returned to his work in Las Vegas on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Sullivan are here for an indefinite time due to Mr. Sullivan's poor health. The Hurricane high school faculty fac-ulty and city council urge that the residents of Hurricane and La-Verkin La-Verkin use sparingly of their tap water so that the higher districts of the city may have water and especially the school for the large lawn. If citizens don't cooperate, the lawn will die out, as now only night water is used. Mrs. Gladys Young left Wed-esday Wed-esday for Salt Lake City to visit her daughters, Esther and Lydia. The two ward Primaries held a children's dance Wednesday night with a large crowd present. Acorn 4-H Club Organized The Acorn 4-H club was organized organ-ized here June 25th with Mrs. Claud Hirschi and Mrs. Grace Staheli as leaders. The meaning of Acorn as applied to the club pf ficers elected were Myrnasi worth, president; Marie a7 vice president; Jeannie Balta secretary; Jeannine EspUn Z porter; Lenna Mae Hinton leader.
