Show PINE YALLEY Mrs. E. S. Beckstrom Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Claude Bracken and Mrs. G. E. Malchus spent Monday in St. George on business. Mrs. Sarah Jacobson and family went to St. George on Tuesday evening to greet her grandson, Eldon Bennett, who is there on a short furlough from the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Malin Cox spent Monday in St. George, where they took their daughters, Renee and Christy for medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. T. Atkin and Mrs. Nettie Morris spent Sunday Sun-day here visiting friends. Nearly the entire adult population popula-tion of the village attended the funeral services held in St. George on Wednesday for Mrs. Ida Seegmiller. Seeg-miller. Mrs. Seegmiller spent the summer of 1931 here where she assisted in the birth of her grandson, grand-son, Craig Snow. He is the only child born in this town since 1910. Mrs. Alice Snow, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Snow and children, Mr. and Mrs. George Snow and Miss Roma Snow were guests at the Levi Snow home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Jones of the Jones ranch near Newcastle spent several days here last week on vacation. They visited at the home of the former's aunt, Mrs. Effie Snow. A committee has been appointed to arrange the Fourth of July celebration with Mrs. Rex Gardner as chairman. Plans are being made for our annual picnic in the canyon. |
