I Shortly after our last column appeared in print, we received a sincerely beautiful letter postmarked post-marked St. George and signed, "A Mother and Son". It's theme was to take exception to our reports re-ports of complaints due to our flying. It expressed an inspiring confidence in the security its authors au-thors feel the air force affords them and a very gratifying tolerance toler-ance for our unseemingly conduct in being aloft so obstreperously all night. We extend our heartfelt thanks for your encouragement and expression of confidence, "Mother and Son". I trust we may vindicate our faith and deserve de-serve your prayers. |
