Show NOTICE TO WATER T3SERS Tlie State of Utah Office of State Engineer 1939U LakG City, SePtember 16, Notice is hereby given that L. R Stubbs, Short Creek, Arizona has made AppUcation in accordance accord-ance with the Laws of Utah to change the points of diversion of 9 sec. ft. of water from Short Creek and Maxwell creek in Washington county, Utah. Said water was to have been diverted pursuant to Application No. 12761 from January 1 to December Decem-ber 31 inclusive of each year at three points located as follows from the SW Cor. Sec. 26 Twp 43 S., R. 10 W., SLB&M. From Short Creek at a point E. 70 rods and N. 32 rods; from Maxwell Max-well creek at points (1) E. 48 rods and S. 28 rods and (2) E. 412 ft. and S. 16 ft. The water was to have been used to irrigate 90 acres of land embraced in the EVaNEi and NESE Sec. 34 and WNW Sec. 35, T. 43 S. R. 10 W., SLB&M. It is now proposed to divert said water during the entire year from Short Creek at a point E. 38 rods and S. 86 rods from the N Cor. of said Sec. 26 and from Maxwell creek at points (1) E. 27 rods and N. 10 rods and (2) E. 26 rods and N. 3 rods, both from the SW Cor. said Sec. 26, and use it to irrigate the 90 acres of land hereinbefore described. This AppUcation is designated in the office of the State Engineer En-gineer as No. a-1491. All protests resisting the granting of said AppUcation, with reasons therefor, there-for, made in affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys, State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, with one extra copy and $1.00 filing fee on or before November 18, 1939. T. H. HUMPHERYS, State Engineer.
