Mrs. Hammond is attending tho Quish Iicauty school in Salt Lake City. Miss Phyllis Holt, Phillip Jones ami Violet Terry have gone to St. George to attend school at the Dixie college. Miss Marian Holt has gone to Cedar City to attend school at the- B.A.C. Miss Josephine Holt has t,'one to Salt Lake City to take a course at the Quish Beauty school. Mr. and Mrs. Hert Twitched and three children have moved here to live. They have bought the Ed Hall home and ranch and will live here permanently. Mr. and Mrs. John Benson spent several days of I he past week here visiting and attending to business interests. Wm. J. Lund has gone to Salt Lake City on business. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Frei spent Saturday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Heber Truman. The weekly bridge club and their partners spent Sunday in the Pine Valley park. Those who went were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Lund, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Holt, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Truman, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holt, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Snyder, Cornelia Lund and Clark Benson, Desmond Des-mond Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tobler. Mrs. Henrietta Day suffered a stroke Tuesday morning and was rushed to the Iron county hospital hos-pital for treatment Tuesday morning. Reports are that she is not very serious and will soon be around again. The following men from here attended the road meeting in Pioche Saturday: Ivor Clove, Heber Truman, L. M. Terry, and Alma Truman. |
