Show Santa Clara Miss Laura Gubler Reporter The Primary association was reorganized re-organized Sunday due to the illness ill-ness and absence of its presidency, presi-dency, Mrs. Clawson Frei, Mrs. Joe Ray and Mrs. Val Rose. Mrs. Harvey Stucki was chosen president, presi-dent, Mrs. LaVoy Mason and Mrs. Landon Frei as councilors and Mrs. Lewis Clayton, secretary. secre-tary. Those who spent Thanksgiving holidays here with their parents were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Graff of Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hafen and two children of Veyo, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Frei and family of Kamas and Lucille Hafen of Provo. Mrs. Emma Graff left Friday for Salt Lake City to visit several sev-eral weeks with her son, Oliver and family. Henry Gubler and son, Don-worth Don-worth of LaVerkin and William Bennett of St. George were the speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Mrs. Donworth Gubler accompanied them. Ora Nell spent Thanksgiving with her parents at Koosharem. Mrs. Wilford Knight left Wed- j nesday for Good Springs, Nev., to visit with her daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Freelove. Dale and Guy Tobler were visitors vis-itors with friends at Salt Lake City during the week-end. A large group from here attended at-tended the wedding reception at Ivins Friday night honoring Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Spencer. Mrs. Taylor was the former Lillis Ence. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Grey and small son, Wendell were visitors here Friday and Saturday. Mrs. June Gubler entered the local hospital for surgery on Monday. |
