I have in my possession the following described animal, which if not claimed and taken away will be sold at public auction to the highest cash bidder, at my corral, in LaVerkin Precinct, on Wednesday, the 3rd day of July, A.D., 1940, at the hour of 2 o'clock p.m. DESCRIPTION OF ANIMAL One red steer bally faced about one year old, ear marked left ear slit; right ear slit under half and upper under bit; branded VX on left ribs. Said animal is held by me to secure payment of One Dollar ($1.00) damages done by said animal upon the premises of LaVerkin La-Verkin City in the LaVerkin field on the 17th dav of June, 1940.
