Show Toquemlle Mrs. Rowena Slack Reporter Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Manning and family of Cedar City, have moved here for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Slack and family have moved to Kanarra for the summer. Mrs. Harvey Theobald underwent I a minor operation Wednesday at the Iron county hospital. Mrs. Fern Everett of St. George spent Friday visiting her mother, Mrs. Amelia Slack. Mrs. Linda Fletcher and children, chil-dren, Eugene and Gweneth of Seattle, Wash, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Fletcher's father, W. H. Slack. They are on their way to Denver, Colo., where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Higbee and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hull spent Friday Fri-day and Saturday at Mill Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Stout and family., of Salt Lake City visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and t Mrs. Samuel Bringhurst. Miss Mabel Jarvis of St. George spent Friday visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Minnie Slack and family returned home Tuesday from Cedar City where she had been getting medical aid for her baby. The relief society held a closing ( social Tuesday. The afternoon was spent with games, after which a pot luck lunch was enjoyed by all. Miss Lulu Slack left Sunday for Sun Valley, Idaho, after visiting here and in Los Angeles the past j three weeks. , Mrs. Antone Bowler and daughter, daugh-ter, Jeanne of Washington, D. C. arrived Tuesday to visit Mrs. j Bowler's parents, Mr. and Mrs. , Harrv Slack. Miss Wilma Kleinman of Cedar City visited Tuesday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Kleinman. Miss Mary Alice Bringhurst returned re-turned Tuesday from Cedar City where she has been working. She is going to Kanab to open up a beauty salon. Family Reunion Friday, June 21, a family reunion re-union was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Slack, the occasion being the 72 birthday anniversary of Mr. Slack. A family dinner was held at 6 o'clock at which 30 children and grandchildren grandchil-dren were present. After dinner the evening was spent with a program and visiting. Saturday the adults made an excursion to the St. George L.D.S. Temple. Children present from out of town were: Mrs. Linda Fletcher and children, Eugene and Gweneth of Seattle, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. James Bunker and children of Veyo: Mrs. Nellie Martineau of Gunloek: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Slack Jr. and children of Hurricane: Hurri-cane: Mr. and Mrs. Francis Slack and children of LaVerkin. and Miss Lulu Slack of Sun Valley.
