Caddie NeiLjoa j LydLi Stephens ; Reporters I The 4-H club met at the home 'of their lea.ier, Mrs. Wilma Iver-I Iver-I son, lat week where they organized or-ganized fur their summer's work. Officers elected were Phoebe ILannig, president; Berl lloopes, vice-president; Erlynne Paxman, secretary; Geneva Prisbrey, reporter, re-porter, Aloha Averett, cheer leader and Zona Reidhead and Lorna Hall, committee. Mr. and Mrs. Willard NeiLson spent Thursday in Cedar City with their daughter, Mrs. Joseph Judd. Miss Theo Judd returned witfi them. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Prisbrey and Mr. and Mrs. El Roy Pectol spent Sunday until Tuesday of last week in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Robinson Robin-son and daughter, Joyce, left on Wednesday for Vancouver, B. C. Sherman Cooper of Hinckley is in town for a few days. Mrs. Orpha Gould entertained the I.M.O. club at the home of Mrs. E. M. Iverson Thursday afternoon. Harry Shirk of Cedar City was a business visitor in town Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Larson of Hurricane were visitors at the home of their sister, Mrs. Lydia Stephens Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Antone Nisson of Provo arrived last week to spend a few days with relatives before leaving for Yellowstone National Park, where he has employment em-ployment for the summer. They returned to Provo Tuesday where Antone will receive his master of arts degree. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nisson accompanied them to attend the graduation exercises. Wilford and Howard Jolley are here from Los Angeles to spend a few days with relatives. Mrs. Wilma Iverson and three small daughters left Tuesday for Salt Lake City where she will visit with her mother, Mrs. A. S. Willett, for about 10 days. Mrs. D. A. Atkin of Shingle, Calif., returned Tuesday to her home after spending several weeks here with her grandmother, Mrs. H. M. Jolley. |
