Show Esther Woodbury and Gail Heaton Marry In St. George Temple Wed. Miss Esther Woodbury, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Woodbury, Wood-bury, became the bride of Gail Heaton, son of Mrs. Persis Heaton of Alton, Utah, in the St. George Temple, Wednesday, Aug. 30. With many friends and relatives of both bride and groom attending, attend-ing, the ceremony was read by Pres. Harold S. Snow shortly after 12 noon. Following the marriage mar-riage a family dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, attended by immediate family members. The lawns fronting the Woodbury Wood-bury residence were the scene of the festive wedding reception, honoring the couple and given by Mr. and Mrs. Woodbury, Wednesday Wednes-day evening. The bride was exquisite ex-quisite in a rippling gown of filmy marquisite daintily trimmed in lace, and carried a bouquet of roses. There were many relatives end friends present to enjoy the prepared program of music, songs and readings, provided by the intimate friends of the bride and groom. In the receiving line beside the bride and groom were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodbury; the groom's mother, Mrs. Persis Heaton, Mr. and Mrs. Vard Heaton and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Heaton. Homer E. Robertson Robert-son was best man and the bridesmaids brides-maids were Rhoda Cannon, Elaine Hafen, Grace Cottam and Adrene McArthur of St. George and Miss LaBerta Woodbury of Hurricane, all gowned in colonial type formats for-mats with harmonizing corsages of roses and sweet peas. Miss Viola Woodbury, sister of .the bride, had charge of the program. The couple left early Thursday forenoon for Yellowstone Park where they will spend two weeks before returning to Alton to make their home. |
