Show Andrus-Leigh Wedding Read At Andrus Home Sunday Evening The marriage of Mary Andrus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Andrus to Reed Hinton Leigh, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Leigh, of Cedar City, took place at the Andrus home late Sunday evening with Bp. Andrew McArthur officiating. of-ficiating. The ceremony was performed per-formed in the presence of a small group of relatives, including parents par-ents of the couple, Calvert, Reva and Pearl Andrus, brother and sisters sis-ters of the bride; Mary Leigh, sister of the groom and Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Milne. The bride's twin sister, Pearl was her attendant. at-tendant. .For the ceremony the bride wore a street length dress of white lace piped in dusty rose, with a corsage of harmonizing rose buds. A post-nuptial dinner was served serv-ed to 25 relatives and intimate friends at the Andrus home at noon, and from 5 to 8 p.m. Hiss Andrus was hostess at an elaborate ela-borate trousseau tea at the Mrs. Beth Schmutz apartment where the couple will reside on their return from a short wedding journey. Assisting at the tea were Mrs. Bert Milne, Mrs. Maxine Spencer, Naomi Fordham, Toni Watson, Jennie Wadsworth and the bride's sisters, Reva and Pearl. Interesting in the display was handwork done by her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Manomas Andrus, now 97 years old, and an elaborate elabor-ate three-tier wedding cake topped top-ped with a tiny bride and groom, decorted by Mrs. James McArthur. |
