Show Local News Items ! Mrs. Orpha Hunt left Friday for Cottonwood, Arizona, to spend several areeks visiting relatives. Mrs. Lavinia Allen returned home Truirsday from Panguitch where she has been since the St. George Temple closed in July. Miss Bertha Musser of Salt Lake City- spent the week-end visiting relatives and friends here while en route to San Francisco where she will spend the holidays. She was a guest at the- home of Miss Alice- Pendleton. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Graff of Rockville brought their year old son to St. George for medical treatment the latter part of last week. Mrs. Philena Pickett returned home Saturday from a month's visit in Salt Lake City with her daughter, Mrs. Nolan Anderson. The Indian Farm Sunday School party was held Sunday evening in a beautifully decorated building build-ing there. Melvin J. Bryant Sunday Sun-day School superintendent was in charge of the program which consisted con-sisted of musical numbers, stories and a visit from Santa Claus. Numerous presents and candy and nuts were distributed among the ninety Indians and thirty visitors present. The following are home from the B.Y.U. at Provo to spend the holiday season with relatives: Virginia Prince, Virginia Moody, Dessie Jones, Jean Cottam, George Jam's, Stanley Schmutz, Sam Crosby, McKay Neilson and Mr. and Mrs. Antone Nisson. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pace and daughter Penny Rae, arrived here Thursday to spend the holidays with relatives. Mr. Pace is registered regis-tered at the University of Arizona at Tuscon, where- he is studying law. A. B. Andrus left Thursday for Richfield where he will enter the National Re-employment office. He was in charge of the local office of-fice until recently when it was ; closed. Miss Leone Holt who was also in the local office has entered 1 the office in Cedar City. The following are spending the , holidays at their respective homes: Miss Mary Lucile Gerber, Salt Lake City; Afton Peters, Ogden;. , Emma Neilson, Hyrum; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Shields and George Jay, Tooele and Professor Olsen, Salt Lake City. i Mrs. Albert Piers and daughter ' of Santa Barbara, California arrived ar-rived here Sunday to visit her brother and sister Evan Cottam ' and Mrs. Willard Milne. She will also spend a few days with her J parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cottam Cot-tam at Veyo. Mr. Piers is expected here on Friday. Miss Rosalie Neagle of Salt J Lake City is spending the holidays holi-days with her sister, Mrs. David I Foremaster here. Her brother, George accompanied her down and spent the week-end visiting. Mrs. Everett Syphus returned home Saturday from a visit with relatives and friends in Logandale and Overton, Nevada. Alden Lee returned home last Wednesday from Boulder City, Nevada where he spent a week visiting his sister, Mrs. Lewis Pulispher. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Hail are here from Alamo, Nevada to spend the holidays and visit relatives. A bridal shower honoring Miss Gertrude Cottam was given by a group of her friends at the Cottam home on Saturday. Refreshments! were served to twenty guests. j Mr. and Mrs. Alcn N.
