Show Clarissa Adair Jcnes Honored At Funeral Rites j ENTERPRISE, Utah. Funeral services were held here June 6 for Clarissa Adair Jones. Bishop Joseph Jos-eph A. Terry presided. She died on June 5 after suffering for years. Speakers were Joseph E. Jones. L. M. Terry, Heber Truman, and Newell R. Frei. Musical numbers were as follows: "I Know That My Redeemer Lives", vocal duel by Alta Truman and Howard Holt, "There Is Hope Beyond the Shadows", Shad-ows", a saxophone quartet "Abide With Me", vocal solo. "Faith in Thee", by Mrs. Smith, clarinet solo "Whisepring Hope", Helena Thomas Thom-as and Elaine Holt; vocal solo, "One Fleeting Hour", Rose Bar-locker. Bar-locker. The opening prayer was given by William Lund and the benediction was said by B. C. Farnsworth. Clarissa Adair Jones was the daughter of Lucy Holt Adair and Elijah T. Adair. Born at Order-ville, Order-ville, Utah, December 7, 1887, she married Seth M. Jones in the St. George Temple June 1, 1909. She was the mother of six children, three of whom survive her. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Alwyn Jones, Mrs. Justin Lytle, Stanton Jones, and four grandchildren, also her mother, Mrs. Lucy Adair and the following brothers and sisters: D. H. Adair, Mrs. Arthur Thomas of Enterprise; Mrs. Ed Hall of New Harmony, Israel Adair and Josiah Adair of Pioche. |
