Do you remember how few new homes there were here? Now they are in every block of the city and more going up all of the time. Do you remember the Washington County News? A four-oage paper with little news or advertising. And all of these things and many more have taken place since 1933. We remember them because April 1 of that year is when we purchased the News. We have watched all of these changes take place in these few short years. We believe that no other town in the state can present so many evidences of constructive improvement as have come to pass in St. George. And what is written of St. George can be written to a greater or less degree of every town in Washington County. Hurricane and Santa Clara in particular have made great progress. |
