Show LaVerkin Mrs. Pansy L. Hardy Reporter Sheldon Snow, of northern Utah is visiting with his sister, Mrs. Ruby Dutton. He has just returned re-turned from a trip to California with some friends. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Woodbury entertained guests from Cedar City Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Sanders have returned from a business trip into northern Utah. They spent a week there, and report an enjoyable trip, despite rain and snow. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Segler and Miss Elzyvie Segler have returned re-turned from a trip to Salt Lake City. They sold Dixie sorghum enroute there. Mr. Segler is well known for the sorghum which he makes, and his sorghum brand is well known all over Utah and southern Nevada. E. J. Graff has completed his turkey picking, until after the Christmas holidays. Theron Stevens Stev-ens was high-point man in the picking, doing forty-five birds in one day, most of them toms. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Merrill are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Brig-ham Brig-ham Hardy. The Merrills live at Springville, and are here for the Christmas holidays, where their son, Harris and family of Las Vegas, Nevada will join them. Mrs. Harris Merrill is the daughter daugh-ter of Brigham Hardy. The meeting of the P.-T. A. was held at Hurricane Monday night. A Christmas program was presented pre-sented to the parents, and was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. attend-ed. Miss Kate Isom's fourth grade presented a dramatization of the birth of Christ. Christmas songs and music were presented by students stu-dents of the high school. Questions Ques-tions were asked and discussed between parents and teachers. An informal dance was held after the program, in which Santa appeared and presented all with home-made divinity. |
