Show - Jack Is Useful on Balky Mounted Rims J When a rim with tire is J mounted on the wheel It often J happens that the rim cannot be rj; moved into place, remaining partly on and partly off. Slight springing of the rim is all that . Is needed, and this may be done by placing the head of a Jack against the hub of the wheel and the base of the jack od the protruding portlcn of the rim. Thus sprung a little, a hammer H blow will slide the rim over the edge of the wheel. In most cases of this kind the mere op- J eration of the jack will force 4 the rim over the wheel. i H |
