Show Local News Items Misses Hortense and Evlyn i-Snow left Saturday for Salt Lake City, where they will accompany their uncle, Dr. Lawrence Snow t o Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They expect to be gone several weeks. Mrs. Alma McGregor and daughters, Mrs. Wanda Snow. Karma and Mary McGregor left last week for Baltimore, Maryland Mary-land to attend the graduation exercises of Alpine and Lorenzo McGregor who are graduating from the medical department of the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Simpson Simp-son and Robert Huck returned Tuesday from Los Angeles where they had spent the week-end visiting relatives. They were accompanied ac-companied home by Mr. Simpson's Simp-son's mother, Mrs. Margaret 'Simpson. Mts. Edna I. Huck returned to her home in Los Angeles Thursday after spending the past month visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edgar Simpson. Simp-son. Mrs. Maurice Pack and daughter daugh-ter left Saturday night for Tre-menton Tre-menton to visit with relatives and will attend conference in Salt Lake City before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Turek and family of Hatch left for their home on Saturday after visiting at Boulder Dam and with Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Barn-hurst Barn-hurst in St. George. They were accompanied by Mrs. Julia Huntington Hun-tington and daughter, Miss Florence Flor-ence who spent the winter here, the latter attending the Dixie college. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pickett, son, Elmer and daughter, Glenna returned Monday from Salt Lake City, where they had been on business. ' They were accompan ied home by Mrs. John Longson of that place-who will , spend several sev-eral days visiting her mother, Mrs. Lorin Little here. Mrs. Sina Bunting of St. George and her daughter, Mrs. Harry Shirk of Cedar City left Monday for Mesa, Arizona to spend ten days visiting Mrs. Bunting's sisters. Miss Lena Nelson left last Thursday for Salt Lake City to spend her vacation with relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schmutz and family left for their home at New Harmony on Sunday after spending the winter here. Miss Emma Neilson of Hyrum, who spent the winter here teaching teach-ing at the Dixie college returned nome on Saturday. Luther Foster came in Tuesday Tues-day from Cedar City to spend two weeks visiting his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Morris Mor-ris and other relatives. Miss Norma Webb entertained the following friends at her home on Friday afternoon: Misses Miss-es Evlyn and Nellie Snow, Myr-lene Myr-lene Fawcett, Ada Hafen, Virginia Vir-ginia Prince and Elaine Sand-berg Sand-berg of Hurricane. Earl Morris returned Sunday from California where he spent the past months. He was accompanied ac-companied by his cousin Paul Dotson of Santa Maria who will spend some time here visiting.
