Show POPULAR COUPLE HONORED AT RECEPTION In honor of the carriage of Miss Cleone Smith, daughter of Patriarch and Mrs. Hyrum G. Smith, and Alma Isom which "took place Thursday morning in the Salt Lake temple a large reception was held Thursday evening at the home of the bride's parents, 1358 Yale avenue. The ceremony cere-mony was performed by the father of the bride who was assisted by Elder George Albert Smith and Elder David 0. McKay. The bridal party stood in a bower of palms, ferns and roses. Tall brass holders held white cathedral cathed-ral candles. Supper was served in the garden which was lighted with colored lights and lanterns. The supper table held a Mexican cutwork cloth and was centered with a silver basket of gladioli, gladi-oli, asters, marigolds, and sinnias in the pastel shades. Silver candlesticks held yellow tapers. The bride was lovely in a model of white satin and cliffon embroidered ffith rhinestones and pearls. Her tulle veil was caught with orange blossoms blos-soms and pearls into a coronet. Her bouguet was a shower of pink roses, white orchids and white sweet peas. Miss Afton Carpenter, maid of honor, wore a dainty frock of pink satin trimmed with pink and white maline. Miss Katherine vyeiler, bridesmaid, was gowned in green taffeta combined with orchid chiffon. Miss Marva Hdson, bridesmaid, wore yellow taffeta trimmed with maline. Miss Alice K. Smith bridesmaid, wore coral Seorgette and Miss Helen Oswald, bridesmaid, wore a model of rose pink ta'feta. Miss Helen Smith, brides-maid, brides-maid, was dainty in a green and coral taffeta flock. All of the attendants carried orchid sweet peas and pink rses and wore head bands with rhine-stone rhine-stone ornaments. Alston Isom was best man.
