Show Local Column Overflow Jliss Berneice Neilson returned to her home at Kanarra last Friday. Joseph W. Judd attended the funeral of Heber Ashworth at Beaver Friday. Jack Wadsworth was a business visitor visit-or at Cedar City the latter part of last week. H. H. Wilson spent the week end here from Zion park, where he is working. Mrs. William Miller and Miss Rose Ashby spent last week end visiting at Cedar City. Mrs. Claude Hirschi of Hurricane was visiting relatives here the fore part of the week. W. J. Iverson came in Friday from Mt. Trumbull, Ariz., to spend several days on business. Miss Ada Gardner returned Friday from Cedar City where she spent a few weeks visiting. Wesley Thompson of Cedar City is here to spend the winter working for the Dixie Power Co. Samuel Bennett of Holden came in last Friday to spend the winter here working in the temple. Miss Elsie Burgess of Central is spending this week here, a guest of Mrs. William Worthen. A party was had at the home of Miss Lois Taylor Saturday night. An enjoyable time was had. Mrs. Amanda Sorenson and son Ben left Wednesday for Monroe to spend Thanksgiving with relatives. B. F. Childers and Theo Colman of Mt. Trumbull, Arizona, spent the fore part of the week here visiting. Matt Grey of Central was a visitor here the latter part of last week en route to Los Angeles, California. Ephraim Foremaster and son Joe returned re-turned Monday from Kanab where they spent a few days on business. Miss Martha Empey entertained a number of friends at her home Saturday Satur-day evening. A nice time was had. Miss Agnes Pendleton entertained at a shower for Miss Mary Andrus Monday Mon-day evening. A splendid time was had. Mrs. E. B. Snow, her son Eric and Mrs. Althea Gregerson attended the funeral of Jesse Berry at Kanarra last Friday. William Worthen and son, Bill, and Rob and Earl Worthen returned Saturday Sat-urday from Enterprise where they have been working. Two children of George Brooks and two children of Wilford Schmutz had their tonsils removed at the local hospital hos-pital Saturday.
