Show TOQUERVILLE Miss Minnie Piatt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Piatt of Kan-arra Kan-arra and August P. Slack, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Slack, of Toquerville, were married in the St. George Temple, Tuesday, September Sep-tember 3. A reception was held Wednesday night at the home of the bride's parents in Kanarra.. Our school has started again and we are glad to have the same teachers back again this year as they did such good work last year. They are Boyd Dennett, Den-nett, Mary Naegle and Buelah Kleinman. We are also proud of our new school bus. Miss Helen Papworth of Ceda City formerly of Toquerville, daughter of Mrs. Isabel Papworth Pap-worth was married in the St. George Temple, Tuesday, September Sep-tember 3 to Mr. Wade of Salt Lake City. Word has been received of the marriage of Worthen Gregerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Gregerson Gre-gerson of Pintura to Miss Werd-na Werd-na Musgrove, of Hollywood, California. Cal-ifornia. The marriage took place September 2nd at Los Angeles. Mrs. Annie Naegle and son, wewis and Miss Helma Beautj left Sunday for Cedar City where they will spend the winter. Lewis Lew-is and Hilma will attend the B. A. C. J. T. Beatty arrived home Wednesday after visiting his daughter, Mrs. 0. L. Willet the past week. Mrs. Willet has a new baby boy. Mrs. Heed Beatty and family have returned from the mountain where they spent the summer. Ivan Bringhurst left Tuesday for Provo to visit for a while. |
