Show VEYO Veyo, April 3. Friday evening local talent presented a vaudeville which was very well attended. The proceeds were turned into the ward piano fund. Mr. and Mrs. James L. Bunker went to St. George Monday on business. A. B. Andrus was in town Tuesday on official business. John H. Bowler went to St. George Monday to provo up on some land. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bowler of Gun-lock Gun-lock were town visitors Sunday. Albert Bunker has gone to Cedar City on business, Mrs. J. F. Cottam has gone with him to visit with her sister Mrs. John E. Blazzard for a few days. Nearly all the Veyo farmers are enlarging en-larging their orchards this year, some of "them putting out as many as 150 more young trees. Everything is looking green and the fruit trees are in bloom. We hope we will not have frost this year that takes the fruit but we are having a ve.-y cold spell at present. Lem S. Leavitt and gravel hauler-have hauler-have moved to Diamond Valley and are hauling gravel onto the road this way. |
