Show PINE VALLEY Pine Valley, Sept, 10. Mr. and Mrs. FcrnU'igh Gardner and Mrs. R. B. Gardner of Cedar City spent several days of this week visiting here. Mrs. Reuben Gardner returned with them to visit her daughter, Mrs. Myron Stout, at Iron Springs. Mrs. Eula Jacobson and children have gone to Caliente, Nevada, where Mrs. Jacobson will teach school the coining winter. Mr. and Mrs. George Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks of Lund, Nevada, Nev-ada, spent Thursday night at the home of Mr. Gardner's sister, Mrs. Jeter Snow. Bruce and William Snow delivered lambs at the railroad in Modena, Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Orson Hall and children have moved to St. George for the winter. Mr. Hall will remain here for some time. Seventeen young people of the town enjoyed a swimming party at Veyo Saturday night. J. X. Gardner left yesterday for Los Angeles, Cal., to deliver a carload of cattle. Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Gardner returned return-ed last week from a trip to the Grand Canyon. George Snow went to St. George today to-day where he will attend the Dixie college this winter. Spencer Snow came home yesterday from Newcastle where he" has been working the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Bleak and children have been visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Calkins, this week. Mrs. Glenn E. Snow is staying two weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Gardner. Mr. Snow has gone to Alamo, Nev., to teach school. Mr. and Mrs. J. Wm. Pulsipher were here last week en route to Bunkerville, Nev., where Mr. Pulsipher is employed to teach school. J. W. Jackson of the Midas Development Develop-ment Co. was a business visitor Tuesday Tues-day from Veyo. |
