Show Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Higbee and family of Cedar City are here to spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Miles left Monday Mon-day for Panguitch, where Wyatt will teach school this winter. Mrs. Rhea Wakeling and daughter. Miss Lillian, were visitors here last Saturday from Toquerville. Bishop Will Abbott and son Anthon of Mesquite, New, spent Sunday and Monday here visiting relatives. Don't forget the big banquet and dance tonight to celebrate the opening open-ing of the New Arrowhead hotel. Frances Seegmiller returned Sunday from Los Angeles, Cal., where she spent two months with relatives. Miss Karma McGregor returned Sunday from Portland, Oregon, where she spent a two months' vacation. Miss Lydia Ruesch come in Saturday Satur-day from Springdale to spend a few weeks working in the hospital here. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Graff and baby of Logan came in last Friday to spend several days here visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Grey and daughter daugh-ter Caroline came in Sunday from Los Ange'.es. California, to visit relatives. The M:ses Grace and Roxic Lund of Para-.cr.nh came in Sunday to spend the iiT.'jr here attending the Dixie college. Willard Iverson of Mount Trumbull, Ariz., spent last week here on business. Burnell McAllister of Kanab came in Monday to attend the Dixie college this winter. Rulon A. Snow has gone to Overton, Nevada, where lie will teach school the coming term. Miss Hortense Snow returned Sunday Sun-day from Los Angeles. Cal.. where she spent the past two months. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hardy of Bunk-erville, Bunk-erville, Nevada, are here to spend the winter working in tire temple. Mr. and Mrs. George Lytle and family fam-ily of Central are here to spend the winter, the children attending school. Mrs. Dunning Church and children left Thursday for Los Angeles. Cal.. after spending a few weeks here with relatives. Miss Madge Morrill of Toquerville is spending this week here en route to Central, where she will spend the winter win-ter teaching school. Rulon Bastian of Enterprise is spending this week here visiting en route to La Verkin, where he will teach school this winter. |
