Quite a number of people here are ill with the mumps. John H. Lee has returned from 'Cedar City where he spent the past -month visiting his daughter, MJrs. Owen Barton. Bishop Alma Flanigan, Niles ""Earl, and Evan Prothero attended 'Union meeting at Hurricane Sunday. Sun-day. Stanley Bray, the superintendent of the Nevada Contracting Company Comp-any and Henry Cornelius spent two days last week in Cedar City on imsiness. Niles Earl, Dell Beames, and 'Alma Flanigan made a business -trip to Zion Park last Friday. A play entitled, "Who's Girl" -was presented here January 3 by out local dramatic troop. The play was written by Sylvester Earl. A dramatic club was organized here last Sunday with Robert Dearie as president, Sylvester Earl, vice-president, Lola Cornelius secretary sec-retary and treasurer and Isaac 'Turner, property manager. Mrs. Elizabeth Beames is at Leeds visiting with Thomas Stirling Stirl-ing and family.
