Show HURRICANE LADY PASSES MONDAY Mrs. Emma Bleak Humphries, wife of John Humphries of Hurricane Hurri-cane passed away at Hurricane at 3:15 Monday afternoon. She had been in poor health for some time but had been confined to her bed less than a week. Her mother, Mrs. Joseph S. Smith of St. George spent Friday and Saturday with her there and on Monday afternoon left St. George again in company with Dr. McGregor McGre-gor arriving there 15 minutes before be-fore she passed away. Besides her mother and husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Kate Eager, Misses Edith, Jessie, Nellie, Irene, and Leatha and Allen, Bleak and Mark all of Hurricane and two brothers, Harry of St. Gorge and Mark Bleak of Las Vegas and one sister Mrs. Joseph Wn. McAllister of St. George. Four half-sisters, Mrs. Wm. A. Nelson, Mrs. George Ramsey, Ram-sey, MJ-s. Joseph S. Snow of St. Gorge and Mrs. W. Y. Teetzel of Los Angeles. Three half-brothers also survive, Samuel and Wilford Bleak of St. George and Lewis Bleak of Riverside, Calif. Funeral Services will be held at Hurricane at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. af-ternoon. She was about 47 years of age. and was married in the St. George temple about 25 years ago. |
