Show Womeln Oppose Publication Berlin, The Federation of German Women's Clubs, with a membership of over a million, has appealed to the German press to cease publishing the details of the trial at Hanover of t Fritz Haarmann, known as "the vampire" vam-pire" because of his atrocities. "We speak for all responsible women and mothers," says the appeal. "Inestimable "Inesti-mable harm accrues to our youth from the publication of the terrible details involved in this trial." The federation, therefore, asks that only the verdict be made public. |
