Show FEATURES OF 1033 PROGRAM ANNOUNCED Leadership Week o f Next Year to Be Divided Into Adult and Student Departments, De-partments, Include Contests A feature of the Dixie College Col-lege leadership week program which will be given in the principal towns in Washington and Kane counties during the week of . January 3 to 9, inclusive, inclu-sive, will be the announcement of the 1933 Leadership program, which will include many special spe-cial features. The adult program of next, year will be very much the same as has been given, but in the student department, courses will be given in vocational guidance and contest work. Leading institutions insti-tutions in Washington county, including business houses and banks, are cooperating with the school to make possible the presenting of adequate prizes for contest work. An interesting part of tiie 19 3 2 program will be displays from various important manufacturing manu-facturing companies. ' The exhibits ex-hibits will include oil companies, compan-ies, chemical laboratories, manu-facturers manu-facturers of school supplies, including in-cluding books, stationery and laboratory supplies. Bleak and company; com-pany; Leadership Week, 1932-33, 1932-33, President Jos. K. Nicholes; cornet duet, E. J. Bleak and Sam Pugh; Agriculture in the Nation's Business, Director W. W. Owens, U. S. A. C; brass quartet; chorus; benediction. As has been customary in past years, a livestock show will be held in connection with the leadership program. It is believed that shows are good stimuli for a community as well as for an individual. Every man is proud to see the best of his flocks and herds exhibited and compared with his neighbor's. It becomes an educational demonstration demon-stration for him if he participates. partici-pates. The best way to overcome a financial depression is to take advantage of it by making use of it. There will be no money prizes offered, but ribbons will be awarded by competent judges. judg-es. There is no better way to cure a sick agriculture than to keep its spirits buoyant and in good condition. Everyone is urged to bring out his dairy cows, beef cattle, sheep, goats, horses and poultry. |
