Show OFFICIALS TOURING PARK SECTION A party comprising 210 persons, including in-cluding a large number of railroad and park officials, the state road commission, com-mission, Senator Wm. H. King, and Mayor Bowman of Salt Lake City, are visiting Zion park today. Among the railroad officials were President Gray of the Union Pacific and the president of the Western Pacific. Pa-cific. Stephen Mather, superintendent superintend-ent of national parks was with the "party, together with President Heber J. Grant and President Anthony W. Ivins. The Dixie College band is accompanying ac-companying the party on its tour. It is proposed to visit Zion national park, the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon Can-yon and Cedar Breaks. The party was met at Echo farm by delegations from St. George, Hurricane. Hur-ricane. Toquerville and other communities communi-ties in the county. Among those who went from St. George were H. T. Atkin, chairman of the comity commissioners. President E. H. Snow, of the State Board of Equalization, President Jos. K. Nicholes. Walter Cannon, Farm Agent Walter F. Smith, County Clerk John T. Woodbury and members of the county school board. |
