Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, Oct. 24. Eugene Bowler age 27 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Bowler of this place, died Thursday about 3 o'clock in St. George hospital. Eugene had been bothered with appendicitis ap-pendicitis for a long time and on being . told of his condition by the doctors he was operated on . Monday morning. Pneumonia set in and Thursday morning at six o'clock his mother left to be with him his father already being be-ing there with him. The remains were brought home and funeral services held Friday at 4 o'clock. He is survived surviv-ed by his parents, sister and brothers. His brother Rex came from Ogden and many relatives including both grandfathers' grand-fathers' attended the funeral. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the whole community in their loss. The hills have been full of hunters for the past few days. Nearly every one seems to have had good luck in getting their deer of which there has been a great many killed. Saturday night Mrs. Olive Truman entertained at a party and Mrs. Dora Clove entertained at a party, both in honor of Mrs. Rose Scow and Mrs. Horace Palmer of Milford, w-ho were visiting here while their husbands got their deer. They returned home this morning. Mrs. Blanch Correy of Cedar City is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Don Emett. Mrs. Joseph Listen and Mrs. Fred Bagshaw spent last week here visiting from Pioche, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Moody, Misses Linda Larson and Roma Church and John McAllister returned last night from Salt Lake City, w"here they attended at-tended the U. E. A. convention. |
